WarCraft: Headshot Compilation

Warcraft fanart!

Aich, I know, more headshots, but I haven't painted anything properly for so long that I'm not so confident as of yet and feeling kinda antsy and anxious, but I'm building up to something epic, eventually...hopefully soon.

Despite the logo, I paint them as I knew them from Warcraft 3. I don't play WOW but the WC3 logoes don't look as spiffy.

Top row, L to R: Arthas Menethil, Jaina Proudmoore and Kael'Thas Sunstrider

Bottom row, L to R: Illidan Stormrage, Thrall son of Durotan (UNF, total UNF unf unf) and last but not least, the great PANDAREN BREWMASTER!

Black Jewels: Two Couples

I'm really liking the Black Jewels series by Anne Bishop right now, and am feeling compelled to paint them.

If you're wondering why the whole composition is so haphazard, it's because I painted this over a pencil drawing doodle I did.

Here's the pencil drawing [link]

top couple: the 'golden couple' of the whole series - Jaenelle and Daemon

bottom couple: MY FAVOURITE! Gray and Cassidy. There's nearly not enough Gray and Cassidy fanart out there D:. I love them! Love the fact that both of them are not perfect and have deep emotional scars that they both must overcome in order to be with each other.

okayyy enough art for now, i go back to painting *is trying to slowly crawl my out into the world again*

Tears of a Cyclops

She's back! Everyone's favourite albino cyclops!
This is a cover for a project that I'm making. It's a platform game and such. I've already done the level art and storyline and all, guess will put them up here when I've handed them all in :P

Golden Eyes

One night I dreamt of a man, a Jamaican man (he told me). His face was so beautiful and has this feline quality to it, and his eyes were a lovely shade of gold. In fact, he looked a lot like Milo Manara's depiction of Desire

I tried to capture him as I saw him in my dreams.

Joaquin deux

A repaint of a character I painted completely out of a whim some years back. I did this for a book submission. I tried to create this somewhat sinister expression on his face, and heh, tried really hard to give his skin this abalaster translucence that hints that he might be well, more than just some pale, slightly creepy looking guy ;). After all, he's meant to be a vampire!

Also, I'm quite aware of how bright my screen is...I actually kind of like it that way, but it also kind of means that my painting tends to appear really dark. I appreciate feedback on how this picture appears on your screen.

Alice Wernher-Sargent copy

a practice piece kinda, done in Feb this year

trying to go for the loose, confident brushstrokes that Sargent was an absolute master at. I need to be more spontaneous, artistically-speaking. :P
